Please update your feed

I’m taking a quick blogging break from Library Day in the Life to beg a favour from you.

I have just put the RSS feed for this blog through Feedburner. If you are an exisiting subscriber could you please update your feed to this brand spanking new one. It will take just 1 minute of your time.

Why I didn’t do it when I moved from to I do not know, it would have made life a whole lot easier.

  1. Because I’m nosy and I want to see how many people subscribe to my feed. Unless I’m mistaken (which is quite probable) Feedburner is the best/simplest/only way to track that.

  2. I’m using the Feedburner plugin which forwards the standard feed from the blog to the Feedburner feed. This should mean that if you did just copy and paste the blog’s URL into your reader it will pick up the Feedburner feed and you’ll be added to my stats…. I think!

  3. Yeah. I wish I really knew for sure it was doing that, though! I have two stats packages, and one says I have around twice as many subscribers as the feedburner one does. Dunno if this means two seperate subscription-sets – to the feedburner feed, and not-feedburner feed. I know the whole point of feedburner is that it’s supposed to cover everything, but it doesn’t seem to.

    Anyway. Thanks for your answers!
